About The Position
Peak Veterinary Referral Center is seeking experienced relief veterinarians to join their Urgent Care team! This is a multi-specialty hospital with a 14,000 square foot facility, open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 7 PM, with no overnights. Services include internal medicine, surgery, oncology, radiology, behavior, and urgent care. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology such as a 64-slice CT, mobile mini c-arm, endoscopy suite, ultrasound, and an oncology suite. The role involves working 12-hour shifts, with 10 clinical hours and 2 hours for charting, on an as-needed basis to cover staff absences. The Greater Burlington area offers abundant outdoor recreation, educational institutions, dining, and cultural attractions, and is recognized as a healthy place to live and raise a family.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience working in an urgent care setting.
- Work authorization in the United States.
- Must possess a DVM or equivalent degree.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in internal medicine, surgery, oncology, radiology, or behavior.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care veterinary services.
- Complete charting within the allocated time.
- Cover shifts for vacations and sick days.
