About The Position

This role involves supervising employees in the daily production of corrugated board/converting board. Key responsibilities include training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating employee performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, promoting safety, quality production and teamwork, and resolving conflicts. The supervisor will lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance to ensure efficient and effective work, a safe environment, and a quality product. Effective communication of operational information, both orally and in writing, to all levels (crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel, and outside customers/vendors) is essential. The position also requires actively promoting and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs and initiatives.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Ability to cover off shift as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred.
Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
