This role involves supervising employees in the daily production of corrugated board. Key responsibilities include training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating employee performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, promoting safety, quality production, and teamwork, and resolving conflicts. The supervisor will lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance to work efficiently and effectively, while ensuring a safe work environment and a quality product. Effective communication of operational information in both oral and written format is essential at all levels, including crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel, and outside customers and vendors. The position also requires actively promoting and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and other programs and initiatives within the organization. Additionally, the role involves performing individual, team, and small group training on specific subjects selected by the Site Manager or PIM, such as safety, machine setup, QMS, machine operation, and PIT operation, and completing related training documentation. Other duties may be assigned.
