The Relief Resident Crisis Worker is responsible for the provision of crisis intervention and support services to women and dependents living in a residential setting. These services and programs are offered within the organization’s Anishinabe Health and Wellness Framework. The role involves working from a holistic perspective, utilizing cultural teachings, and providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering environment for victims of violence. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, case management, program facilitation, general housekeeping, meal preparation, and childcare assistance. The position also requires adherence to privacy legislation, health and safety compliance, and representation of the organization in a professional manner. Cross-training for the Relief Help Line Crisis Worker position is also a requirement.
