About The Position

The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Relief Residential Crisis Worker (RCW) to join the Broadway Crossings team. Broadway Crossings provides short-term, trauma-informed, stabilization services to adults experiencing a mental health or co-occurring crisis in a home like environment as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. As a Residential Crisis Worker, you will provide direct service to clients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 5 years related experience required.
  • Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment (trainings provided); then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status.
  • Technical literacy
  • knowledge of DSM-V
  • solid oral and written communication
  • strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Computer efficiency is a requirement.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
  • MHRT is required for position you must pass CNA registry check
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
  • A good driving record is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Behavioral Health or related field and 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other relevant area preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in mental health field preferred.
