About The Position

This position operates machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and verifies that the proper ingredients and supplies are used on the line. The operator monitors and adjusts machine settings as needed and notifies a supervisor when equipment may require maintenance. The role also requires maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The position is intended for team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members interested in transferring from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. Candidates must complete their 90-day probationary period to be eligible. Applicants must have an excellent safety record with no active safety violations, and suspensions within the previous 12 months are not considered. Employees must have three attendance points or fewer and maintain that level to remain in the position.

Requirements

Excellent safety record with no active safety violations. Core Safety Mandate violations remain active for 24 months; other safety violations remain active according to company policy.
No suspension within the previous 12 months.
Completion of the 90-day probationary period.
Three or fewer attendance points, maintained while in the position.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet business objectives.
Dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities.
Ability to perform job physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery while following established safety procedures.
Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift, move, or otherwise handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
