About The Position

This position operates machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process. The operator monitors and adjusts machine settings as needed and notifies a supervisor when machinery may require maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The position is intended for team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members seeking to transfer from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. Applicants must complete their 90-day probationary period, have no active safety violations, and maintain three attendance points or fewer under the updated UKG attendance policy. Suspensions within the previous 12 months are not considered.

Requirements

Excellent safety record and no active safety violations. Core Safety Mandate violations remain active for 24 months; other safety violations remain active according to company policy.
No suspension in the previous 12 months.
Completion of the 90-day probationary period.
Maintain three attendance points or fewer under the UKG attendance policy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet business objectives.
Dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery while following established safety procedures.
Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift, move, or otherwise handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
