About The Position

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is seeking a per diem Relief Admin Nursing Supervisor. The position oversees the delivery of quality patient care in accordance with Cottage Health and department-specific policies and procedures. It also directs and evaluates the care delivery of others to support continuity and quality. Cottage Health is an acute care hospital system serving central coast communities, with hospitals, a rehabilitation hospital, clinics, and urgent care locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or current enrollment in a BSN program with anticipated graduation within an established timeframe.
• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Knowledge of licensing and accrediting requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Three years of Registered Nurse leadership experience in an acute care area.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Three years of demonstrated leadership experience with increasingly greater responsibility in an acute care hospital.
