The field of human services provides meaningful work. What you do has a purpose, and you know it directly impacts and contributes to an individual’s well-being while supporting the development of more inclusive communities which benefit everyone. Calgary Alternative Support Services (CASS) recognizes that the people we employ are our single greatest asset. We endeavour to recruit and mentor human service professionals with talent and commitment for disability advocacy and community engagement. We have three (3) relief positions located in Calgary. A relief role has no guaranteed minimum number of weekly hours but on an as-needed basis. The Calgary Alternative Day Options (CADO) program is a community-based day program serving adults with disabilities. The program occurs in inclusive settings which allow natural interaction with a variety of people. Clients can choose to do one or more of the following: self employment, volunteering, recreation & leisure. For each of these options, clients are supported to set goals, develop new skills, and create natural supports within the community. The Relief III provides quality design and delivery within the Calgary Alternative Day Options Program (CADO).
