About The Position
Bond Vet is seeking a Relief Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) to join their team in the DC Area. Bond Vet's mission is to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care, offering primary and urgent care services. Their clinics are designed to be warm, friendly, and technologically advanced, with in-house technology that allows for easy innovation to improve the experience for the veterinary team, pets, and clients. They believe veterinary technicians are crucial to excellent medicine and design their clinics to allow technicians to practice at the top of their license, focus on patient care, and work with a supportive team. Technicians are supported by veterinary assistants, a remote nurse team, and strong medical leadership.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician
- CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT required.
- Independent unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
- Accept new employment for this position.
Responsibilities
- Patient handling and husbandry
- Client education and partnership
- Surgical and dental nursing, including anesthesia management
- Diagnostic management and medication administration
- Emergency triage and response
- Detailed medical record keeping
- Run appointments alongside assistants
- Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses across the region
- Participate in monthly educational events
- Use innovative technology — including AI-assisted tools and the Apple Vision Pro — that reduce administrative burden and enhance patient care.
