About The Position

The Relief Counselor supports individuals facing mental health challenges and helps them live independently and beyond their perceived limitations. This role provides direct support care, ensures daily living needs are met, and helps maintain a safe and inspiring atmosphere. The position offers flexibility intended to accommodate personal, work, and/or school schedules. An additional hourly differential may be offered for certain programs based on skills, location, training, and populations served; applicants should ask their recruiter whether this position qualifies.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered support plans.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and provide transportation as needed.
• Implement activities that promote skill development, community engagement, personal growth, and meaningful relationships.
• Review and complete all required documentation.
• Provide direct support care and help ensure individuals' daily living needs are met.
• Help maintain a safe and inspiring atmosphere.
