About The Position

Eliot is seeking a Relief Counselor to work with adults with brain injuries in residential programs. The programs provide high-quality, innovative support to help clients enhance their lives, develop skills, participate in community activities, and build supportive relationships. Various shifts are available. The listed benefits do not apply to relief positions.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• One year of experience working with adults with cognitive, behavioral, or developmental issues.
• Ability to drive a program vehicle.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Maintain a personally owned vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Medication Administration certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meals, and ambulation.
• Help maintain a safe living environment by providing interventions and assistance to support client safety.
• Support clients in integrating into their communities by using community resources and encouraging memberships and personal relationships.
• Assist clients with medical and physical needs.
• Help clients participate in activities, attend medical appointments, and maintain meaningful family and community connections.
