About The Position

Eliot is seeking a Relief Counselor to work with adults with brain injuries in residential programs. The programs provide high-quality, innovative programming to help adults enhance their lives, develop skills, participate in community activities, and build supportive relationships. The position has various shifts available. The listed benefits do not apply to relief positions. The hourly rate is $20.

Requirements

• Experience working with adults with cognitive, behavioral, or developmental issues.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Ability to drive the residence van.
• Must maintain a personally owned vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Medication Administration certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with tasks of daily living, including personal care, meals, and ambulation.
• Ensure a safe living environment by providing interventions and assistance to maintain safety.
• Support clients in integrating into their communities by using community resources and encouraging memberships and personal relationships.
• Assist clients with medical and physical needs.
• Help clients participate in activities, attend medical appointments, and maintain meaningful family and community connections.
