About The Position

We are looking for a part-time, detail-oriented Relief Accountant to support our accounting team. This role is specifically for weekend work. Requirements

  • Business or Accounting Certificate or Diploma.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Possess a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of daily accounting records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
  • Counting cash and preparing deposits.
  • Coding payable invoices and collection of accounts receivable.
  • Preparing reports for management of the property.
  • Employee payroll and administration of the employee files.
  • Compilation of daily revenue and payroll reports for the hotel and corporate management team.
  • Count and reconcile Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) revenues in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy in VLT cash handling and reporting, and promptly identify and resolve discrepancies.
