About The Position

As a Reliability Engineer at Tolko's High Prairie OSB Division in High Prairie, Alberta, you will play a key role in planning and executing maintenance-related projects. The mill has recently undergone a major rebuild and modernization, including the commissioning of a new continuous press, making it the most modern mill in North America. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in an exciting upgrade to a world-class OSB facility. Tolko is a family-owned company that has been producing innovative forest products for over 65 years, focusing on sustainably managing forests and business for upcoming generations. Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with RCA/RCFA and FMEA.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Excellent people leadership skills.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance program development, data analysis, lubrication, vibration, and ultrasound.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team and take charge of all predictive and preventative maintenance projects.
  • Report directly to the maintenance manager.
  • Partner with members of the team to problem solve and implement innovative solutions.
  • Encourage and recognize the contributions of others.
  • Keep your team safe by ensuring all provincial and safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Manage the planning, execution, monitoring, control and closing of reliability projects and improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and track reliability KPI’s.
  • Utilize your comprehension of blueprints and designs to troubleshoot and understand our equipment.
