Why Join Us | DuPont Careers At DuPont, we are looking for a Reliability Engineer to drive equipment reliability, asset performance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. This role will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, solve complex equipment challenges, and support capital projects that improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, maintenance, or process engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of reliability methodologies such as RCFA, FMEA, predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, or related tools is preferred.
  • Experience with capital projects, SAP, Six Sigma, or Process Safety Management (PSM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support reliability improvement initiatives across the plant.
  • Perform root cause failure analyses and develop sustainable solutions to improve equipment performance.
  • Analyze equipment and maintenance data to identify trends and optimize asset reliability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce process variability and improve operational performance.
  • Support capital projects by providing reliability expertise during design, installation, commissioning, and startup phases.
  • Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, with a focus on Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to turnaround and shutdown planning to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
