About The Position
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) will lead technical teams and Agile releases, supporting a development team that's modernizing critical projects. This role is crucial for managing the delivery of advanced digital solutions, working closely with clients to develop and release mission-supporting services. The RTE will guide the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, implement metrics to track progress, and bring people together to make a tangible difference. This position is key in transforming the future of digital platforms.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience performing as a Scrum Master, RTE, Agile coach, or business analyst in an Agile environment
- 5+ years of experience facilitating Agile events in SAFe
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence to manage teams, tasks, events, and outcomes
- Experience communicating with product owners, managers, and development teams
- Knowledge of various Agile frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to apply critical thinking to data analytics, metrics, or impediments, and provide recommended solutions
- Ability to deliver results across multiple development teams and work streams
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an Enterprise IT environment
- Experience supporting the Navy
- Experience briefing senior military or government officials
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services
- SAFe RTE, Scrum, or Agilist Certifications
