About The Position

Average hourly rate is $16.63 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). TFI Family Services is looking for a full-time Relative-Kinship Worker to add to their KS Permanency / KS Case Management Department. This role works to promote the well-being of children by teaching skills such as emotional regulation, having healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families. The worker collaborates with relative-kinship caregivers to train and support them and the children in their care. Responsibilities include facilitating kinship meetings, identifying potential kinship and/or relative placement options, providing on-call support to caregivers, crisis intervention, and coordinating community resources for the children served.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in child and family services field.
At least two years’ experience in child and family services.
Compassionate, eager to learn, and wants to help families and caregivers build on their strengths for healthy long-lasting relationships.
Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy families.
Strong desire to advocate for children and their families.
Complete a Predictive Index assessment.

Responsibilities
