Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Teller for our team. Requirements

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience working with the public and handling money
  • Basic math and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of previous banking experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cheerfully greet customers as they walk through our doors of the branch.
  • Process routine financial transactions for our customers such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments.
  • Utilize product knowledge and recommend financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our customers.
  • Maintain a cash drawer with all the proper controls, vouchers, receipts, security, proofs, etc., ensuring it balances at the end of each day.
  • Comply with check-cashing guidelines and look for fraudulent activity.
  • Take on all service opportunities - from the easy going to the challenging.
  • New account processing.
  • Updating customer and account information.
  • Providing needs-based solutions for customers.
