About The Position

As Relationship Specialist, you will provide outstanding customer experience by meeting the customer’s needs and demonstrating technical competence. You will ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs. You will maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable. You will be able to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable. You will act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts. You will understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM(Customer Relationship Management System). You will assist with inventory control of products offered at the location. You will maintain inventory of office supplies. You will prepare accurate/timely delivery tickets; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided. You will have working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies. You will perform daily verification of delivery tickets for accuracy and perform operations for incoming/outgoing scale traffic in accordance to established procedures (weighing, sampling, grading and ticketing). You will ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized. You will update the market board as needed. You will develop ongoing general awareness of Landus’s products/services and be able to communicate information to customers such as Landus credit and sales. You will collaborate with the Account Coordinator to plan and execute community events; take primary ownership of this responsibility outside of Harvest season, with the Account Coordinator leading during Harvest. You will adhere to Landus Cooperative’s safety policies and procedures and be a champion of safety compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in coordinating projects with internal and external resources.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers.
  • Ability to understand and apply written instructions, troubleshoot issues, and work with others to identify solutions.
  • Computer Skills and Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor with the ability to collaborate respectfully with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated and organized with attention-to-detail
  • The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in the company’s vehicle safety policy. Failure to meet these qualifications could result in removal from this position.
