The Relationship Manager is responsible for understanding and complying with regulatory requirements for financial transactions, particularly the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP). This role emphasizes superior customer service, building strong customer relationships to provide the best banking and financial solutions, and fostering loyalty to Austin Bank. The position involves developing a teamwork atmosphere, staying informed about company communications, and enhancing personal skills through ongoing training. Upholding the organization's values of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality is paramount. Key duties include greeting customers, interviewing applicants for loans, analyzing financial status, ensuring loan agreement accuracy, and corresponding with applicants or creditors. The Relationship Manager approves loans within limits or refers them to a loan committee, confers with underwriters, and actively seeks new business by calling on potential or existing customers and networking. The role also involves managing past-due accounts, analyzing loan markets, assisting senior loan officers, and providing routine platform services. Additional responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, handling telephone calls, notarizing documents, performing property inspections and collateral assessments, maintaining files, inputting loan information and UCC filings, preparing reports and correspondence, and reviewing VSI insurance and ticklers. The position requires adherence to established department and Bank policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance, as well as continuous professional growth and development. Professionalism, courtesy, and tact are expected in all interactions with Bank personnel, along with regular and prompt attendance and strict confidentiality.
