About The Position

Kooth is a rapidly growing business with a social purpose, listed on the London Stock Exchange. Our mission is to provide welcoming and effective digital mental health support nationwide. We are the UK's largest digital mental health platform for young people aged 10-25 and are expanding to support the NHS adult population, offer corporate solutions for mentally healthy businesses, and grow internationally. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for contract renewals, optimizing pricing, and identifying opportunities for uplift and expansion within their designated area. This role involves nurturing strategic commissioner and stakeholder relationships to effectively promote the outcomes Kooth delivers.

Requirements

  • Experience of successfully identifying and nurturing new sales opportunities, including tenders, specifically in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience of working in partnership with commissioners and providers to successfully redesign services and develop new solutions.
  • Appetite to meet and exceed new sales and growth in accounts targets.
  • Evidence of working in a team to develop and implement business growth strategies and campaigns.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and social inequalities and their impact on children, young people, and adults' mental health.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the changing commissioning landscape and its impact on mental health and social care services.
  • Ability to liaise and network with a range of partner agencies across the statutory, independent, and charitable sectors.
  • Ability to work in a way that engages positively with issues of diversity and difference.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations and sales pitches to audiences of commissioners, providers, and stakeholders, including young people and adult cohorts.
  • Experience of using computerised systems at a high level, including Microsoft, G-suite, Salesforce, Slack, or similar systems, and the ability to adapt and learn.

Responsibilities

  • Sole responsibility for the renewal of contracts, delivering on opportunities for uplifts, expansions, and new opportunities within designated areas.
  • Ensuring contracts are on the latest pricing structures.
  • Developing high-quality and timely business case proposals and supporting tenders as needed to ensure contract renewals.
  • Navigating the shift in contractual relationships into ICS/Health Board structures by identifying and nurturing strategic commissioner and stakeholder relationships pertinent to their contracts.
  • Challenging and improving current ways of working to implement best-in-class and proactive customer success strategies and approaches consistently.
  • Identifying potential new opportunities for Kooth through close strategic commissioner relationships, ensuring Kooth and Qwell are at the heart of new models of care.
  • Identifying and nurturing strategic stakeholder relationships across the new commissioning structure (including Provider Trusts (NHS) and Provider Collaboratives, CAMHS/AMHS), paying close attention to local priorities and objectives.
  • Identifying and nurturing senior-level relationships with the most important partner agencies of statutory, independent, and charitable organizations in the region.
  • Networking, liaising, and holding relationships with the most important partner agencies to embed Kooth in the new ICS/Health Board structure.
  • Developing and delivering best-in-class customer success presentations and sales pitches to audiences of commissioners, providers, and stakeholders, including young people and adult cohorts.
  • Working strategically with commissioners and the central support team to ensure accurate evaluation and reporting on services and performance, and identifying improvement areas.
  • Forecasting, reporting, and recording effectively and accurately using Salesforce, including contacts, leads, opportunities, activities, and timely updating of Account Plans.
  • Analyzing data, drawing key insights, and presenting them effectively, or critically reviewing centrally developed outputs to advance conversations with commissioners and stakeholders.
  • Developing tailored narratives to show the impact and effectiveness of Kooth's service to key commissioners and stakeholders based on ICS/Health Board strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Understanding the ICS/Health Board structure and governance, including strategic objectives within Mental Health Trusts and Provider Collaboratives, to ensure local priorities are reflected in engagement, marketing, and customer success strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with the Engagement Team Leader and Engagement Leads to ensure alignment on supporting promotional efforts.
  • Supporting the execution of engagement and communication strategies to effectively engage commissioners in their area.
