Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, or related client facing‑ roles.
  • Strong understanding of individual life and disability insurance and foundational employer sponsored‑/owned plan concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • Ability to resolve moderately complex issues with limited supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with client calls and explaining plan concepts.
  • High attention to detail with strong organization and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret plan information and policy performance.
  • Active Life & Health, FINRA Series 6 & Series 63 licenses.

  • Overnight travel may be required on a limited basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee employer-sponsored and employer-owned insurance plans, conducting ongoing reviews to optimize plan performance, strengthen retention, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and support territory and regional sales goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to plan sponsors, financial professionals, office staff, and internal partners by providing plan design consultation, business planning support, product expertise, training, and best-practice guidance to enhance customer outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Lead the resolution of complex customer, compliance, regulatory, tax, audit, and service-related issues while partnering across teams to ensure accurate, timely, and seamless support for insurance-related processes and plan administration.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, presentations, and cross-functional projects while providing training, mentorship, and consultation that strengthens team capabilities, improves business processes, and supports overall business results.
