About The Position

Macatawa Bank, part of Wintrust Financial Corporation, is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and retain meaningful customer relationships. The role uses financial knowledge to identify customers’ needs and recommend suitable products and services. It is a dual-role position supporting branch success through customer relationship management, teller services, account servicing, and referrals to specialized banking partners. Depending on the shift, the banker may also open or close the bank and help support community and bank events.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
• Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby and drive-up.
• Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
• Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
• Depending on the shift, take responsibility for opening or closing the bank.
• Help support community and bank events.
