About The Position

As a Financial Relationship Banker, you help consumer and business customers achieve their financial goals by retaining and growing their relationships with the bank. You proactively identify customers’ financial goals and needs and recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. The position is based in an office branch and offers a welcoming, inclusive team environment where colleagues can share ideas that affect customers, the bank, and the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales; alternatively, military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, the new customer follow-up program, and referrals from customers, bank colleagues, and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
• Educate customers on optimizing their use of online, mobile, and ATM banking technology.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
