About The Position

Providence Bank & Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Relationship Banker to join its Retail Team in South Holland, Illinois. The role focuses on enhancing customer relationships by providing excellent service and addressing customers’ financial needs. In this dual role, the banker handles financial transactions and opens accounts for individual and business clients, engages customers to identify their needs, and makes referrals to business partners in support of the bank’s strategy. The position also supports relationship-building efforts and contributes to overall branch operations. Lobby and drive-up hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., and Saturday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Schedules may vary based on business needs; flexibility, including Saturday availability, is required. Hours are subject to change to meet business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
One year of job-related experience, preferably in banking, sales, or customer service.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

Banking experience.
Customer relationship-building skills, including the ability to sell, cross-sell, and refer products.
Basic knowledge of retail products, policies and procedures, documentation, and systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
