About The Position

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Relationship Banker for Macatawa Bank in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this dual-role position, the banker builds and retains customer relationships, uses financial knowledge to recommend suitable products and services, and contributes to branch success. The role includes serving customers in the lobby or drive-up, supporting community and bank events, and depending on the shift, opening or closing the bank.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialists for their needs.
• Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
• Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
• Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
• Depending on the shift, open or close the bank.
• Help support community and bank events.
