About The Position

Responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience in person and by phone through developing and expanding new and existing client relationships. Provides financial solutions based on consultative conversations and refers clients to other business partners for additional growth opportunities. The role is cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed. The position requires adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, and participation in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transferred registration and applicable NMLS background checks; must meet ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Ability to travel as needed to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnight stays may be included.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine client maintenance requests and resolve problems, while performing sales functions for deposit, credit, convenience, and other product and service lines.
• Contribute to individual and branch client service and sales targets by offering products and services that develop, expand, and retain relationships.
• Conduct consultative conversations, address client needs, and refer complex needs or financial goals to internal specialists.
• Participate in the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advance sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings, training, and web-based learning.
• Advise clients on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Follow internal controls, operating procedures, risk management policies, and current compliance guidelines.
• Provide courteous service during transactions, identify client needs, handle teller transactions as needed, and help clients navigate the branch.
