Relationship Bankers build customer relationships through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual interactions, using a digital-first mindset to provide counsel tailored to customers’ banking needs. They assess needs, obtain and process customer and account information, explain deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions aligned with each customer’s goals. The role includes proactive outreach and follow-up, maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products—including digital offerings—and providing a consistent client experience through greetings and basic transactions. Relationship Bankers work collaboratively with branch colleagues, open consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. They also educate customers about digital and self-service products and use available resources and technology to deliver accurate, operationally sound service. The position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Registration includes criminal background and credit checks; failure to meet or maintain registration requirements may result in rescission of an offer or termination of employment.
