About The Position

Citi Commercial Bank is seeking a Senior Relationship Associate to manage and deepen client relationships within a global banking network. This role involves working closely with Relationship Managers and product partners to provide excellent client service, coordinate credit processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position is crucial in shaping the client experience and requires the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder situations to achieve positive outcomes for clients and the business.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in client relationship management, banking, or a related financial services function.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive priorities across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Working knowledge of KYC, credit documentation, and regulatory compliance processes within a banking environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and act on dynamic information from multiple sources to support sound business decisions.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, senior stakeholders, and internal partners.
  • Bachelor's degree or university-level qualification, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client networks and internal operational teams, managing escalations and resolving issues efficiently to maintain service continuity.
  • Lead the timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, collaborating with Relationship Managers and product partners to meet compliance deadlines.
  • Support client onboarding for new relationships and subsidiaries, coordinating credit set-ups and ensuring all initial documentation is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate credit requests and approvals across Citi's global network, partnering with credit administration to keep all credit documentation — including FX, derivatives, loans, and letters of credit — current and accurate.
  • Engage with product partners and global coverage teams to identify revenue opportunities and match relevant products to client needs.
  • Monitor credit line usage and participate in annual client reviews alongside Independent Risk teams to maintain a clear and up-to-date view of client risk exposure.
  • Maintain accurate client legal and marketing hierarchies, and ensure periodic client support discussions are documented to the required standard.
  • Apply sound judgement when assessing business decisions, upholding regulatory compliance, ethical standards, and transparent reporting of any control issues.
