Requirements

2+ years of reinsurance experience.
Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal).
Ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation and/or law degree.
Knowledge of contract law, contract provisions, reinsurance concepts and principles, basic regulatory controls, and general business trends.

Responsibilities

Manage the complete lifecycle of a reinsurance contract for assigned accounts, including drafting contract language to reflect negotiation intent, initiating contract transmittal, and coordinating final documentation execution.
Build relationships with reinsurance brokers and clients, and address contract-related inquiries for assigned accounts.
Provide reinsurance contract analysis, independently or with the Global Contract Consultant team, utilizing AI-assisted contract analysis tools.
Support team development by mentoring new colleagues through the Contract Drafter Academy, Guy Carpenter’s reinsurance onboarding curriculum.
Lead and/or collaborate on projects for the Contracts Team, including creating and presenting training on reinsurance topics and developing workflow tools for efficiency and accuracy.
