About The Position

CLA is hiring a Healthcare Reimbursement Director for its Minneapolis, Minnesota office. The position is part of the Healthcare Group and serves healthcare organizations such as hospitals, health systems, federally qualified health centers, and skilled nursing facilities. The director plans and prepares Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and consulting projects in collaboration with Healthcare team members and clients. The position reports to Healthcare Principals and Signing Directors.

Requirements

Six or more years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree; a combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge of Medicare program and state Medicaid program rules and regulations.
Knowledge of Medicare cost report software, such as Health Financial Systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
A degree in Accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
Coordinate and review Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
Coordinate and prepare reimbursement-related consulting projects.
Train and develop staff.
Maintain working knowledge of Medicare and State Medicaid program rules and regulations.
Research Medicare and Medicaid regulatory topics for clients and CLA personnel.
Develop services for CLA clients and prospective clients to positively impact revenue.
Participate in practice management, including professional organizations and associations that build relationships with clients, prospective clients, and industry leaders.
Research Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement topics and develop a reimbursement library.
