Labcorp is seeking a HYBRID Reimbursement Analyst II to join our team! This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham, NC locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ healthcare revenue cycle environment experience or Associate degree with 7years healthcare revenue cycle environment experience or HS diploma or GED with 9 years healthcare revenue cycle environment experience
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 5 + years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle, or financial analysis

Responsibilities

  • Analyze multi-payer reimbursement data to identify variances, denial trends, and revenue risks
  • Validate payments against payer contracts, fee schedules, and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and resolve complex payer issues; escalate high-risk concerns as needed
  • Manage denials and A/R within assigned payer portfolios to optimize cash flow
  • Identify denial root causes and implement corrective actions to improve clean claim rates
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support leadership visibility and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with payer contracts, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive process improvements to reduce denials and enhance reimbursement accuracy
  • Collaborate with billing, coding, finance, and operations to resolve issues and improve workflows
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, providing insights to support performance improvement
