Labcorp is seeking a HYBRID Sr Reimbursement Analyst III to join our team! This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office days at Burlington or Durham, NC and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ healthcare revenue cycle experience or Associate degree with 9 years healthcare revenue cycle experience or HS diploma or GED with 11 years healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and revenue cycle systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise and leadership or mentorship experience

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years experience with payer contracts and regulatory compliance.
  • 7 + years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle, or financial analysis
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • 7 + years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle, or financial analysis
  • 7+ previous experience with data analytics

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced analysis of complex payer portfolios to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Interpret payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies to ensure accurate payment application
  • Develop and recommend strategies to reduce denials, non-response, and revenue leakage
  • Lead initiatives to address systemic reimbursement issues and drive process improvements
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed reporting for leadership decision-making
  • Monitor KPIs related to A/R, reimbursement trends, and payer compliance
  • Serve as a key contact for escalated payer issues and support contract-related discussions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Payor Relations
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing training on complex scenarios and best practices
  • Support automation, reporting enhancements, and process optimization efforts
