About The Position

Manages the daily operations of Rehabilitative Services to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary. Collaborates with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, hiring, payroll, and student engagements. Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and provides appropriate remediation through coaching, counseling and action plans. Collaborates with other unit leaders to meet system goals and objectives including patient safety and satisfaction. Monitors and ensures compliance with department objectives. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

Requirements

  • One (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology or in a related program.
  • Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist.
