About The Position

Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant to support our rehabilitation therapy doctor and provide assistance to other doctors and veterinary technicians/assistants. The role involves promoting and providing services for patients in the rehabilitation therapy program, ensuring exceptional care for patients and outstanding customer service for clients. Duties include assisting with consult appointments, collaborating with the doctor to create and execute therapy plans, and performing various therapeutic services.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist the rehabilitation therapy doctor in promoting and providing services for patients in the rehabilitation therapy program.
Provide assistance to other doctors and veterinary technicians/assistants.
Work with the doctor to design a therapy plan for each patient and execute each plan as specified.
Perform services such as underwater treadmill, acupuncture, laser therapy, land treadmill, therapy exercises (cavaletti poles, weave poles, balance balls, etc.), shockwave therapy, stem cell therapy, and PRP.
Care for animals, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and record-keeping.
Provide patient care and treatments.
Engage in customer relations.
