About The Position

With regular supervision, the Rehabilitation Therapist will implement comprehensive rehabilitation and behaviour management activities for acquired brain injury (ABI) clients of varying levels of complexity.

Requirements

• Post secondary education, with a health-related degree or diploma
• Certification in CPR, Standard First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
• Recent (minimum 2 years) rehabilitation experience in a hospital setting preferably with ABI clients
• Knowledge of community resources and adult learning principles
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with clients and families
• Evidence of recent ongoing continuous learning
