About The Position
Under close supervision, cleans and disinfects assigned areas according to prescribed procedures. Assists in preparing equipment for patients' use, maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and equipment, and replenishes supplies as needed. Transports patients to and from department as needed and performs general clerical duties such as answering phones, taking and relaying messages, and the like. Assists in wound care and dressing applications and changes in hydrotherapy.
Requirements
- Requires a high‑school level of communication and/or math skills.
- No technical training prior to hire.
- Less than three months of previous experience.
- Approximately one to three months of on‑the‑job experience.
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Rehabilitation Aide experience.
