Rehabilitation Tech- Outpatient Program
About The Position
Westminster Oaks is currently seeking a Rehabilitation Tech for their Outpatient Program. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Program Manager or Therapist. This role involves assisting with the operation of equipment by helping patients/residents assigned to therapy. The position requires providing excellent customer service, possessing strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow directions clearly and efficiently. Responsibilities include assisting therapists with treating residents, preparing them for therapy sessions, and occasionally working with residents on specific therapy exercises and therapies. The role also involves transporting residents to and from the treatment area, providing clerical/administrative support, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Help operate equipment by helping patients/residents assigned to therapy.
- Assist with treating residents and helping them prepare for therapy sessions.
- Occasionally work with residents on certain therapy exercises and therapies under therapist supervision.
- Responsible for transporting residents from and to the treatment area.
- Responsible for providing clerical/admin support (faxing, filing, mailing, etc.).
- Responsible for maintaining treatment areas, as well as the equipment in the treatment area.
- Setting up treatment area, cleaning the equipment and therapy supplies.
