About The Position
Mt Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, is looking for a Rehabilitation Tech to join our mission-driven Inpatient Rehabilitation Team. The Rehab Technician assists the Therapists with direct patient care activities utilizing rehabilitation techniques and coordinates non-clinical activities and support functions for the Rehab team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, with general knowledge of sciences, medical terminology
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills and demonstrated simple math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior healthcare or patient service preferred.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and assisting for routine exercises and activities
- Cleaning the gym
- General clerical and front desk support.
- Communicates with ancillary departments, clients and family members to ensure customer satisfaction
