Rehabilitation Counselor - Primetime House (Torrington)
About The Position
The Rehabilitation Counselor at Primetime Clubhouse assists adults with serious mental illness and other co-occurring disorders in finding pathways forward. The counselor works side by side with participants through active engagement in daily activities. The program provides psychosocial rehabilitation to help individuals regain self-worth, purpose, and confidence, while focusing on their strengths and promoting recovery. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, on the first shift, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet program needs. Newly hired employees are required to attend a two-day mandatory New Hire Orientation at The Connection’s Roscommon office in Middletown.
Requirements
- Some post-secondary education is required.
- One year of related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
