Rehabilitation Counselor - Primetime House (Torrington)
About The Position
The Rehabilitation Counselor at the Primetime Clubhouse assists adults with serious mental illness and other co-occurring disorders in finding pathways forward through active engagement and working side by side with them in daily activities. The program provides psychosocial rehabilitation to help individuals regain self-worth, purpose, and confidence, while focusing on their strengths and promoting recovery. The position is based in Torrington and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the first shift, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet program needs. Newly hired employees must attend a mandatory two-day orientation at The Connection's Roscommon office in Middletown.
Requirements
- Some post-secondary education.
- One year of related experience.
- Valid driver's license.
