About The Position

A healthcare organization in Washington State is seeking an experienced and licensed Rehab Therapy Manager (Physical Therapy) to lead its Physical Therapy Department. This leadership role combines clinical practice with operational and administrative responsibilities, including staff supervision, program development, and patient care delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise in physical therapy, proven leadership experience in a rehab setting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that supports community health and wellness.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Washington State
Current BLS certification
Minimum 5 years of Physical Therapy experience
Minimum 3 years of supervisory or rehab management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Physical Therapy Department
Supervise physical therapists, rehab aides, contract staff, and students
Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
Provide and support therapeutic interventions, including: Manual therapy, Ultrasound and electrical stimulation, Hydrotherapy, Taping and traction techniques, Balance and gait training, Therapeutic exercise programs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Manage departmental budgeting, staffing schedules, equipment, and supplies
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
