About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Part-Time Rehab Technician opportunity at our wonderful VA in Huntsville! This 150 bed skilled nursing and memory care facility is home to many of “Rocket City’s” finest Veterans. The recent 20-year construction anniversary celebrated the past and acknowledged recent state of the art upgrades to the State Veterans Home that ensure that the Veterans continue to enjoy an environment of care and quality of life that they deserve. Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and follow the directions of licensed professionals.

Nice To Haves

Some experience preferred in the care and treatment of residents in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with transporting residents to and from therapy.
Assist residents in preparation for treatment.
Assist therapists with resident evaluations, as instructed.
Assist licensed therapists with treatment programs designed for each resident, as instructed.
Maintain departmental records as directed.
Maintain inventories and order equipment, as required.
Attend meetings and in-service sessions, as directed.
Adhere to facility policies and procedures and participate in facility quality improvement and safety programs.
Support the Company’s commitment to Compassionate Care; project a professional image to foster confidence in the Rehab Program.
Perform other duties, as assigned
