Rehab Technician
About The Position
Live to Move Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for a rehab tech to join our team at our only clinic on the border of Manvel and Pearland. This person will work to support the daily operations of the therapists and clinic. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with strong multi-tasking abilities, and able to tackle any job given to them. This person will be working directly with patients under the supervision of our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. When not working with patients, this person will be creating social media posts and performing other duties.
Requirements
- Compassionate and motivating communication
- Positive, high-energy attitude
- Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency with social media, computer applications/programs, and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Safely guide patients through exercises prescribed by PT/PTA.
- Clean tables/equipment, refill soap/disinfectant/etc, organize gym equipment.
- Use content created by therapist to form various social media posts including monthly newsletter.
- If admins aren't available, answering the phone and appropriately responding.
- If admins aren't available, scheduling and confirming patient schedule.
- Collect payments from our point-of-sale device and electronic medical record system.
