About The Position

Stillwater Medical is hiring a Rehab Technician to support its inpatient medical/surgical rehabilitation team. The role provides patient transport to and from therapy and other activities, helps maintain treatment areas, and performs clerical tasks in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with professional practices and ethical standards. The technician contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible, interdisciplinary manner. The position is suited to someone with a positive attitude who is dependable, willing to help, communicates well, listens actively, and is comfortable in a varied environment where they can develop supportive patient-care skills.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience working in a healthcare setting.
Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, walk, and stand frequently and for prolonged periods.
Adequate hearing or corrected hearing to perceive sounds.
Adequate vision, or vision correctable with glasses or contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
Positive attitude and willingness to lend a hand in a team-centered environment.
Professionalism and reliability.
Active listening, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Interest in working in a changing environment and developing expertise in supportive patient care.

Responsibilities
