Rehab Technician

About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Rehab Technician in Duxbury, Massachusetts. The position supports administrative duties for the Rehab Director and provides indirect patient care. The technician assists residents and therapists with therapy-related activities, maintains departmental records and inventories, and follows facility policies and safety and quality-improvement programs.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and follow the directions of licensed professionals.

Nice To Haves

Some experience preferred in the care and treatment of residents in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with transporting residents to and from therapy.
Assist residents in preparation for treatment.
Assist therapists with resident evaluations, as instructed.
Assist licensed therapists with treatment programs designed for each resident, as instructed.
Maintain departmental records as directed.
Maintain inventories and order equipment, as required.
Attend meetings and in-service sessions, as directed.
Adhere to facility policies and procedures and participate in facility quality-improvement and safety programs.
Support the company’s commitment to compassionate care and project a professional image to foster confidence in the Rehab Program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
