About The Position
Iberia Medical Center (IMC) is hiring a Rehab Tech on a PRN basis in New Iberia, Louisiana. Under the general supervision of the Director of Rehab Services and the direct supervision of an attending PT or OT, the Rehab Technician 1 assists therapists with delivering patient treatment or care. The role may also provide clerical support in the outpatient office, including data entry, patient charges, reception, and scheduling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out.
- Assist with patient treatment.
- Monitor patients and report changes to the therapist.
- Assist with patient scheduling.
- Perform data entry, including patient charges.
- Assist with the daily operations of outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment areas and equipment.
