About The Position

Provides supportive and selected patient care services as part of the rehabilitation team. Performs tasks within the scope of training and the laws governing each rehabilitation therapy service. Assumes all responsibilities of a Rehab Services Tech I and additional department duties, and assists with training new Rehab Services Techs.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Rehab Services Department, or completion of a four-year degree in a pre-Physical Therapy field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, and in emergency situations.
• Pass the department-specific proficiency checklist before promotion.
• Complete and pass the cross-training skills proficiency test.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in skills check-off.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting as a technician.
