About The Position
A REHAB DIRECTOR / Physical Therapist (PT / RPT) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Ridgefield, CT. Preferred Therapy Solutions is a therapy company owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. Requirements
- Be a licensed physical therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
- Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and effective operations
- Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
- Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
- Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
- Provide physical therapy services as needed
